We are happy to announce the latest smart technology solution implemented in Romania to our customer’s satisfaction.
Mobile waste processing line including Doppstadt SM 620.3 Drum screen and Allreco Airflex 1500 windsifter , plus Orkel Hi-X Evo compactor and baler – smart technology, great flexibility, ease of operation and high mobility - played an essential role in maintaining optimized performance.
Be it household or commercial waste, compost, bark, wood chips, building rubble and excavated earth, the Doppstadt SM 620.3 drum screen is absolutely convincing in every task. Economic fuel consumption, low operational costs, high throughput capacity, equipped by default as a 2-fraction drum screening machine and improved by the magnetic pulleys, thus able to generate the 3rd fraction for the output belts.
The new generation of air-based separator, Allreco Airflex 1500 windsifter, is easily able to handle even the most challenging separation tasks. The simple but rugged construction allows for separating materials into two fractions (heavy and lightweight). With the optional extensions, the AirFlex 1500 is equipped for all common areas of use and easily separates, e.g. building rubble, construction waste, compost (fine compost and screen overflow), waste wood, packaging materials and PET bottles through to pretreated scrap metal. The separate SLS extension allows for extracting films and lightweight materials to achieve an additional third fraction.
The technical solution was implemented by Uni-Recycling at one of the customer’s facilities in Romania and it was tested for processing materials from bio-drying and sorting refusal. The scope: high quality material recovery and minimize the losses of product by improving its quality. To achieve this, the waste undergoes initial rough screening at 20 mm. The fines < 20 mm are than efficiently separated from unwanted materials in the Airflex 1500 in two stages. In the first step, a powerful centrifugal fan separates heavy materials such as glass, stones and metals. In the second step, a suction fan pulls away ultra-light plastic films for shredding and transforming it in SRF. The rest is a RDF of high-quality with low humidity, that complies with the requirements.
We “wrapped” everything with the Orkel baler Hi-X Evo compactor - the world’s fastest SRF/RDF baler, a mobile baler-wrapper-combination, that can handle larger waste fractions, making it highly flexible for a wide range of waste streams.
Baling and wrapping waste materials in round bales, with an extremely high density will optimize waste plant storage and reduce volume , simplify handling, storage and transport — and help reduce logistics costs.
Result: a combined mobile processing line for efficient, high-quality material recovery from mixed solid waste, making recycling and waste management more effective, perfect, and almost plastic-free – Uni-Recycling’s technical solution, a contribution for sustainable recycling management.
